2012: Tjarda attends the 4-day intensive "LABAN-based Master Workshop for Choreographers and Dance Teachers" by Joan van der Mast (LMA)
2012: Tjarda attends the module "Jazz, toegespitst op didactiek" by Esther Nederpelt at the part-time teacher education at Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg to deepen her skills as a teacher. (Certification)

2011: Tjarda launched her project INFUSION RENDEZVOUS to promote Tribal Fusion Bellydance and it's community in The Netherlands. This project came from the desire to share, connect, inspire & educate dancers of all levels in this fusion style.
2011: In the Spring and Fall of 2011, Tjarda has been coaching several cross-over dancers from Holland for the LiteSide Festival "Shimmy Shake: The Next Level". A coachings project to enhance the level of dancers in the country.
2010/2011: "Tell Me How You Feel" - a world premiere of a collaborative duet of Samantha Emanuel (formerly Hasthorpe - BDSS) and Tjarda.
2010: Tjarda receives a grant from AFK & LiteSide Festival for talented upcoming choreographers to produce a cross-over project "LIGHTS" with Esther Nederpelt (modern jazz), Patricia Winklaar (hiphop) and Aukje Stoffele (whirler) which has been touring theatres in Holland in 2010 & 2011.
2009: Tjarda becomes a honorary member of USA-based troupe UNMATA. www.unmata.com
2008: Tjarda gets asked by the Hollywood Music Centre to perform on the DVD Tales of Desire II with today's most influential tribal-fusion bellydance artists, which has been released in October 2009.
2008: Certification in the level 1 format of both Suhaila and Jamila Salimpour. http://www.suhailainternational.com/
2008: Tjarda receives a grant from NFPK for talented dancers to study for six months in the US Amy Sigil, Suhaila & Jamilia Salimpour, Mira Betz and Heather Stants, among many others.
2008: Nomination by The National Institute for the Voluntary Arts in 2008 for Most Promising Upcoming Choreographer with Exquisite Skills.
2007: The Uzumé Dance Company produces their theatre show "WORLDDANCE CON FUSION" which sold out twice at Theater De Engelenbak.
2007: The Uzumé Dance Company wins first prize for Best Dance Company - Cross-over Choreography by the LiteSide Festival.
2006 - 2007: Tjarda auditions for the School for International Dance / Worlddance and studies here for one year. (Certification)
2006: The Uzumé Dance Company wins the Global Open Stage contest by RASA & Zimihc and tours several theatres in Holland.
