"LIGHTS":
On Sunday August 22, Tjarda's new work "LIGHTS" will be shown prior to the Shimmy Shake show. This is the latest show by up-coming cross-over choreographer Tjarda van Straten, who is one of the top Tribal Fusion Bellydance performers both solo and with her troupe, The Uzumé Dance Company. Especially for the LiteSide Festival she created a twenty-minute choreography intertwining tribal fusion bellydance, modern dance, hiphop and dervish. Starring co-choreographer Esther Nederpelt, Patricia Winklaar and Mieke Vollenbroek.

WORKSHOP by Lebanese-French cross-over bellydancer Linda Faoro

Lebanese-French dancer Linda Faoro combines her oriental roots in practicing ballet, jazz dance, hip hop and urban dance. Her unique style is widely praised by fusion belly dancers.
